As soon as you turn your shower on, the TSV starts monitoring the water temperature. When it gets warm, it triggers a trickle to save water until you are ready. Simply pull the cord to resume full flow.
This Evolve 1.5 GPM Fixed Mount Showerhead has an integrated ShowerStart Thermostatic Shut-Off Valve (TSV). It is high-pressure, high-efficiency, and helps save water, energy, and money.

Countless gallons of hot water are unintentionally wasted at the start of every shower. This is because while waiting for the shower to get warm, people often leave to do something such as brush their teeth or go pick out their clothes.
Evolve's ShowerStart Thermostatic Valve (TSV) is a simple device that eliminates this problem. It allows you to effortlessly save the hot water and energy that’s used while waiting for your shower to become warm. It also lets you know when your shower is warm and ready.
How does it work? It's simple:
1. Turn on the ShowerTurn on your shower and do all the things you would normally do while waiting for it to get warm.
2. ShowerStart Kicks InWhile you're brushing your teeth or making coffee, ShowerStart kicks in and starts monitoring your water temperature. When it reaches 95 degrees Fahrenheit, it automatically lowers your shower flow to a trickle to save water. It will stay this way until you are ready to get in.
3. The shower is Ready - Just Pull the CordYou know the shower is ready because you can hear it's just trickling. When you are ready to get in, just pull the cord to resume full shower flow.
Not wasting gallons of hot water at the beginning of every shower means your hot water will last longer, saving you money on your energy bill.
The Showerhead and ShowerStart TSV combo can be attached to any shower arm with industry-standard half-inch fittings. It is designed for use in homes with static water pressure greater than 30 PSI.
The convenient, reachable pull-cord means you can even use it in showers for children, seniors, or people with disabilities.
Installing an Evolve showerhead is easy and can be done in minutes. For more information, please view the user's guide included in the packaging.
